We are looking for photographers to join with us in providing this service to others, possibly throughout the UK.
There is no doubt in my own mind that there is a need for this type of service at this price bracket in the market. Rising costs means couples have to look for the best return from their cash outlay. Many will want more from their big day but for some this service will be very welcome addition to their list of choices.
You will need to have experience of photographing weddings, the required level of equipment, all the required insurance cover (we can supply details of this and provider on request), be available (mainly weekends), have your own transport and committed to providing the best service possible to the client.
Training is available (in our way of working) for those who live, or can travel to Glasgow. Further afield may present a problem so you would have to show a body of previous work over a period of time that reflects good quality images of people.
There is a seminar running in October that may be of interest to all, not just those who wish to engage with Budget Photographers. This is running in Prestwick on the 4th 5th October 2008 and will be hosted by Mr Ziofabri Oliva (click for link) who is is giving of his time for free, as is the Italian models involved. Mr Z is a current award winning Italian photographer. Day one starts at 1000hrs with Bride and Groom preparations until lunch which is provided within the price plan. 1400hrs location shots of Bridal party. Day 2 is image editing and album design.
